I came to this work via the dance world. That may sound a little strange, but it is truly how I found my way. I began doing bookkeeping and office management for a dance studio where I taught and discovered I really enjoyed the details and putting the pieces together for the artists around me. I realized that I am comfortable with both creative and analytical thinking.

As I continued to dance, teach and raise a child I found that I could support artists, organizations and owners I cared about by providing them with needed administrative skills and day-to-day bookkeeping.

Over the years I found my niche supporting small nonprofit organizations, dance studios, and Episcopal churches by creating newsletters, doing bookkeeping, handling website updates, managing special events, space, and calendars; and providing additional administrative support with database upkeep and contract maintenance.
